Description
This course is designed to equip real estate professionals with the tools and techniques needed to analyze real estate market trends and translate economic topics into actionable market intelligence for their businesses and clients. Incorporating relevant economic research and market data, participants will gain a broad understanding of the fundamental economic forces underlying the real estate market and how they interact with the broader economic environment, with a focus on current economic trends and potential impacts on real estate markets.
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the basic economic principles that apply to real estate
- Analyze the factors that affect the demand and supply of real estate
- Create valuable insights from data and convey those insights to clients to inform decision-making
- Evaluate the impact of government policies on the real estate market
- Illustrate how macroeconomic factors affect aspects of the real estate market such as monetary policy, new construction activity, inflation, home prices, and rental prices.
